Sunshine on a Ranney Day is a company that creates rooms for children with disabilities. Sunshine on a Ranney Day wanted a dynamic way to display video and text on their website. Each child on their website has their own profile, but some profiles had video, other profiles did not. Some profiles had a lot of text about the child and room makeover, other profiles did not. Sunshine on a Ranney day needed an effective way to display content from the database. Destiny's Designs engineering team developed an API which displayed a section for video on a child's page whenever a video was present in the database. When there was no video present in the database the API would hide the video section. The engineering team also developed a button where users could choose how much text displayed on the child's page by having the capability to click the button to read more or read less.
